Access control is keypad, fob and intercom entry for commercial doors. You get a free survey, an itemised quotation and an installation date that suits the business.
The detail
The shutter box, guides and bottom rail are sized to the opening and fixed to sound structure. Insurers often specify a lock type or rating, so we confirm their wording before ordering. Finish and colour are chosen to suit the street as well as the level of security needed.
Working with us
Security is about the whole opening, not just the curtain. We look at the fixings, the lock position, the power supply for electric operation and how your insurer wants the premises secured before we price anything.

How much do access control cost?
Budget from £950 plus VAT as a starting point. Width, height, finish and access move the final figure. The written quotation is valid for 90 days.
How long does it take?
Manufacture usually takes 1-2 weeks after survey. On site, most your jobs take one or two days. Closed-day or out-of-hours work can be arranged.

Questions about access control
How long is the quotation valid?
Quotations are valid for 90 days from the date they are issued.
How do payments work?
A deposit is taken when you accept the quotation, a further stage payment on the first day of installation, and the balance on satisfactory completion. The exact split is set out on your quotation.
Who carries out the work?
Work is carried out by our installation team and approved installers working under S&K Glazing Limited, which contracts with you and is responsible for the job.
Do you cover the whole of the Midlands?
Yes. We cover your area and the rest of the Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Nottingham.
